Traditional Worship - 8:30 & 11:00am
The traditional worship services at Snellville United Methodist Church are held at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. These services incorporate prayer, scripture, hymns, and the sacrament of Holy Communion. Our traditional worship service is lead by Dr. Jim Cantrell, Senior Pastor. His sermons help equip us with the beauty of God's word and brings the congregation into a deeper sense of God's abiding presence. SUMC's Sanctuary Choir and Organist lend to the timeless message of faith through music each Sunday. Rev. Walter Jones, Rev. Jay Suender and Dr. Dave Whitworth also share in leading these services.
Contemporary Worship - 9:30am
Our contemporary worship service is led by Rev. Jay Suender. The pastoral staff and other lay members also participate in this service. We strive to keep the service fresh and relevant through music, technology and dynamic messages that engage the heart and mind in openness to the Holy Spirit. Join us at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays in the Christian Life Center.
hispanic latino Worship - 11:50am
Rev. Efrain Morales, Hispanic Latino Pastor, leads the Hispanic Latino Ministry worship service held in the Christian Life Center. This is a growing and energetic worship service where the spirit of God is present. To learn more about SUMC's Hispanic Latino Ministry, please click here.
Starting on Sunday, September 15th, 2013, children will come to the 9:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. worship service with their parents and attend the first few minutes of worship with their families. Children will then be invited to come up front for a Children's Moment with the Pastor. Then our teachers/leaders will guide the children to the familyfusion Kid Zone in the Cokesbury Building for an exciting and engaging Bible lesson with hands-on activities.
Parents can check-in their child in 1 of 2 places. At 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., parents can check-in at the new Children’s Welcome Center Desk located on the Main Floor of the Cokesbury Building before heading to the Worship Service with their child.
Parents attending the 9:30 a.m. service can check-in their child at the back of the CLC at the Child Check-In Table.
Parents attending the 11:00 a.m. service can check-in their child in the Gathering Room at the Child Check-In Table.
These Fast Pass check-in locations will be available as soon as our technology is set! Watch for notifications!
