The Faith Partners team ministry concept was developed over many years by the Johnson Institute in Texas.  The institute determined that churches were the ideal places for faith and science to come together to treat the epidemic of addictions disease.  Faith Partners ministries now operate in churches in many states.

At Snellville United Methodist Church, Faith Partners has four goals:
  1. to create a healing environment where addiction can be discussed openly, without judgement
  2. to provide sound educational materials and events
  3. to offer specific support, assistance and referral resources to individuals and families
  4. to recognize and honor successful recovery
Our Faith Partners team is deeply committed to being agents of prevention and recovery.  Because our own lives have been impacted by addiction, we understand the pain it causes -- and welcome conversation about addiction problems.
