Trinity Soup Kitchen
The mission of Trinity Community Ministries ministry provides for the immediate and long-term needs of the hungry and homeless in Atlanta through a soup kitchen, women and children’s shelter, and men’s addiction program and residence.
Throughout the year SUMC assists by providing and serving food at the soup kitchen and, by request, collecting clothing and blankets to be distributed at the shelter.
SUMC will participate in a day of fellowship, to help prepare and serve a meal at the Trinity Soup kitchen on August 11th! Trinity Table is the oldest, large-scale, Sunday-only soup kitchen in metro Atlanta.
We need 30 volunteers to serve 300+ hungry and/or homeless men, women,
and children in Atlanta. You can come to serve as a class or as a family or as an
individual. Every time we have gone to serve we have been blessed by serving
others. Volunteers are given the opportunity to not only offer food, but
spiritual support as well. We will leave the church at about 10:00 AM and return
at approximately 4:00 PM.
If you can't make the trip please consider donating items that will be used to provide for those that we will serve. Please click here to view a list of items needed.
If you have questions please email\call Al Crawford 404-290-3642. God bless you and thank you for all of your help!
