Mission Outreach Ministries

Hope Clinic

Snellville UMC supports the Hope Clinic and the great work they are doing through prayers, financial support and volunteers. The Hope Clinic is a Christian non-profit, internal medicine clinic who provides the highest standard in medical care to the uninsured, underinsured and indigent in Gwinnett County.

Honduras Ministry

We have been blessed to have served for 6 years at Honduras Outreach through mission trips, service, and prayers. Our annual mission trips have been a blessing as we have served through Vacation Bible School, building projects, and sharing the love of Jesus Christ with all that we encounter! Our HOI teams served at a local village, and as they say, "pictures speak a thousand words". Click here to view our latest photo gallery!

Nicaragua Ministry

If you’ve ever thought about going on a foreign mission trip, this is a great trip for first timers! We’ll build a small house and garden as we continue to build relationships as we share Christ. Faith and fun rolled into one! For further information on future trips, contact Kathryne Stowe, kmstowe@bellsouth.net

Breaking Bread Ministry

Join us for fellowship and serving families in our community. The first Monday of each month, we serve hungry families at the SE Gwinnett Co-Op by providing a hot meal to take home. God leads, and we follow! For more information, contact Kim Crawford, kimcraw720@hotmail.com.

Rainbow Village

Our goal is to break the cycle of homelessness, poverty, and domestic violence by teaching adults and children to believe in themselves and to work a plan that enables them to be self-sufficient. Since 1991, over 700 men, women, children, and youth have successfully completed our program. For more information, contact Don Smith, donlsmith1@bellsouth.net

Path Project

Addresses challenges facing at-risk children due to the absence of positive role models, basic skills, and the hopelessness that leads to gang activity, teen pregnancy, and dropping out of school. Since 2008, we have been inspired by God to come along side children who want to stay on the right path. For more information, contact Kim Crawford, kimcraw720@hotmail.com.

SE Gwinnett Co-Op

The SE Co-Op ministers to those in crisis by providing food, financial assistance and sharing God’s love with all community residents. Food collections are done year-round via the collection bins on our campus. For more information, contact Louis Murray, louis.murray19@gmail.com.

Tool Box Ministry

This ministry consists of a dedicated group of “minute men and women” who are on standby to assist those in need of basic home repair. Some in our community are not able to afford or complete basic home repairs and this could greatly impact their lives! No experience is required to serve however, we are in special need of those who are handy with basic plumbing, carpentry and electrical skills. Click here to view our photo gallery! For more information, contact Al Murrell, janm@murrellswaterproofing.com

Potter’s Touch Turban Ministry

Show love and support to cancer patients by sewing turbans and caps for both adults and children. More than 10,000 head coverings have been distributed! Each month, approximately 125 turbans and caps are delivered to the American Cancer Society, Chemoflage, Ronald McDonald House, area oncology offices, and individuals in our church, community, and beyond. For more information, contact Deanie Challen, dchallen@comcast.net.

SE Gwinnett Co-Op Gardens
